Pelican Bar, also known as Floyd's Pelican Bar, is a unique, rustic bar located on a sandbar in the sea off the coast of Jamaica. It's a popular spot for both locals and tourists, known for its relaxed atmosphere and stunning ocean views. The bar is constructed from driftwood and is only accessible by boat.

This outlandish bar made of driftwood sits in the Caribbean ocean off the coast of Treasure Beach. Only accessible by boat, Floyd’s Pelican Bar offers a thoroughly memorable experience with stunning views and great food. Swim or snorkel in the shallow waters, savor grilled lobster, and play a round or two of dominoes. Top it off with a breathtaking sunset and a cold Red Stripe Beer. Location:
The bar is situated on a sandbar approximately 400 yards from Parottee Point, between Treasure Beach and Black River on the south coast of Jamaica. 

Construction:
It was built by Floyd Forbes, who started by hauling boards out to the sandbar on fishing boats. 

Accessibility:
The only way to reach the bar is by boat, and there are various water taxi services available in the area to transport visitors. 

Features:
Pelican Bar offers drinks, food (including fresh seafood), swimming, snorkeling, and shaded areas. You can also find local craftwork for sale. 

Atmosphere:
It's a great place to relax, enjoy the scenery, and even have your name carved into the bar's wooden structure.
